About Kim Chism Plotnik

Hi, My name is Kim. I grew up in Aztec NM and now live in Durango with my amazing husband Jeron and my 2 handsome, ornery boys Reece and Riley. I often like to joke that Jeron saved me from New Mexico. Nothing against Aztec or New Mexico but after moving to Durango there is nothing more that I love than the Durango lifestyle!

 

My husband calls me a social butterfly and living in Durango is perfect for me. I love all the friendly people and community. You can find me talking to a complete stranger about 90% of the time you see me downtown.

 

We often take the boys and our 3 dogs out on hikes, bike rides, or down to the river for a fun swim. I also have a little bit of a countryside and enjoy spending time with my parents, sisters, and brother in Aztec where we enjoy my mom’s amazing cooking, and my dad’s grilling skills and end up shooting pool while having a beer or two in the garage.

 

Professionally, I have various experiences from being a Project Manager for a local commercial construction company to being a regional manager for a recovery center. Through my experiences and assisting Jeron & James, I found my true passion is Real Estate!

 

What I enjoy the most is being able to help my clients through the buying or selling process and knowing that they have been taken care of to the best of my team’s ability. I love architecture and engineering and being able to see all the unique homes and buildings absolutely makes my day! The technical details of each transaction keep my busy brain moving and I love the challenge each property brings and thrive on problem solving.

 

Having a family business is something I truly enjoy and I am so thankful to be able to work with my husband and brother-in-law.
